A study of a magnificent Primate, the Sumatran Orangutan. I find this piece very emotive. His soulful eyes say so much. Orangutans are one of the most intelligent animals on earth, surpassing even that of a toddler. His coat was a real joy, a kaleidoscope of electric colours. I also love the interplay of complimentary colours: the orange and blue tones, yellows and dusky violets. All these colours really come alive against the darkened background, making for a vibrant and moving piece.
 
On the finest quality, archival paper: Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, 310 gsm.
Each print will be signed and numbered by the artist, and will come with a certificate of authenticity.
One size (size of original pastel painting) at 18x25"
Additional 2" white border for ease of framing.
 
Please handle prints with great care, as they can mark very easily. Do not allow another material or another part of print to touch or scrape print surface, as this could damage the print. Especially visible on black and darker areas of colour.
The print will be rolled and sent securely in a mailing tube. Prints will be sent out between 3 and 5 working days, by Royal Mail Special Delivery, a next day delivery and tracked service.
