The title of this piece, Resurgam, from Latin, meaning "I shall rise again". In reference to both an eternal and earthly sense. Art reflecting life as it so often does. I think the name suits the resilience and electric energy just radiating from this beautiful Sumatran Tiger.
A relatable theme for all humanity, through the tough times, we will rise again, better for the experience in many ways, with renewed hope, vigour and wisdom.
I love the flashes of turquoise in the surrounding leaves, contrasting too with the fiery colours of this magnificent Tiger. 
An absolute joy to paint and i hope people will find inspiration and joy through the energy and beauty and all that this piece represents.
